About Us

Kapp Aluminium Tretum Offshore AS was established in March 1988 and is located at Kapp in Østre Toten, approximately 20 km south of Gjøvik. The company has 7 employees, and our facilities comprise a 1,500 m² workshop as well as a 4,000 m² outdoor area.

We are well known as a supplier of aluminium structures fabrications. The company is small, well managed and financially sound. We have production facilities, has spent the last 40 years perfecting the art and science of aluminum fabrication. What started as a local workshop has evolved into a highly specialized manufacturing partner for industries, including offshore, marine and defense.

Aluminum is a remarkable material—lightweight, strong, and highly corrosion-resistant. However, welding and fabricating it requires exceptional thermal control, specialized metallurgy knowledge, and absolute precision. Over four decades, we have refined our techniques and built a team of highly skilled, certified welders and operators who understand this material inside out.

 

Today, we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern fabrication standards. Operating according to strict ISO 9001, ISO 3834, EN 1090, and NORSOK regulations, we handle complex, high-integrity projects from initial technical drawings to fully documented, certified final delivery.
